MIL DOT Range finding formula: height of target (yards) x 1000 / number of mils = range in yards
Also works with range finding reticle the horizontal lines are just additional lines to help with bullet drop and measurements
Same formula for mp 20 and slr reticles on the falcon menace series scopes. The difference is the spacing, they have half mil spacing to help with measurments and bullet compensation
